The Story of the Song WhoonDang is an interesting one.
When I was working with James Andrews I would hang out with his grandma Dorthy Nelson sometimes. His grandma was married to Jesse(ooh pooh pa doo) Hill and she was also from a musical family. Songwriter Sessions is an unique musical experience that follows in the tradition of a Nashville style round, similar to what you would find at the famous Blue Bird Café. Well known New Orleans musicians and top tier songwriters, who are behind some of your favorite radio hits, gather to tell the stories behind their songs and performing them just for you. It is a quiet listening room style ambience that can not be found anywhere else in the city.

The evening will consist of two rounds at 7 PM and 8:15 PM.Please be courteous of the performers and their stories and keep talking to a minimum during the Rounds.
